Yes!!  I finally got my official Runner Passport.  Just when I had given up all hope that it was ever going to get here, there it was in my mailbox!  Geez, only 14 days to go and they finally got around to sending out to the runners not in the sight of the elites!  Woohoo!  Doesn’t it look very official??

In this information was cool maps, bib pickup information, instructions, and tickets to the pre-race pasta dinner (really good yummy stuff at that dinner… and beer!!).  Tickets to the post race party too, which we’ve never been to, but what the heck, we’ll try to do it all!

And how about this treadmill?  If I had it I would run like that every day too!!  Go Boston!!

Now, I gotta get to bed because those 8 miles aren’t going to run themselves tomorrow morning 🙂  Hope your Monday was fabulous too!

Q:  What rocked in your Monday?!

  1. WOOT! WOOT!!! So glad to hear you received your Boston Passport FINALLY!!!! YAY!!! Now, I bet it seems more official and the excitement of Boston can continue to grow!!! How do you feel? Nervous? Excited? Have you started to taper?… Good LucK!!!!!!

    1. Thanks! I was getting all bummed out yesterday thinking about not having it, so it was such a happy surprise to get it finally! I’m feeling good and a bit odd being told not to run so much. It’s so much of my routine at this point! And yes, I’m getting more nervous and anxious as the days count down!!

      1. Yes, I bet you are a bit restless with now tapering!!!! But, definitely you have put in the time with training and now it is time to rest and get ready to ROCK that Boston course!!!! 🙂

I wonder if I can track you…… I will have to look…. Of course I will be at work and that might not be possible. BOO!!! I lived streamed boston last year and listened in for up dates between patients. It was easy to do because I had an office away from patient rooms… I have since changed jobs and don’t have that liberty! UGH! I loved listening in last year. Was so rooting for Shalane Flanagan to win…. she held the lead for a while. Then of course the “winner” later was a disgrace to the sport and other elites (I know you know who and what I am referring).

Anyway, take it easy, rest up, and get a strong mental focus to take that Boston course!!!! 🙂 You have a cheerleader here in Georgia 🙂
