No race plans soon, but keeping up my fitness!  The temps have been bouncing back and forth between 50’s and 30’s.  I busted out some lined tights this week!

Monday – 8 miles – 4 miles on the treadmill in the morning, 4 miles with my Moms/She Runs This Town ladies at night!  Beautiful weather out there.

Tuesday – Rest!

Wednesday – Halloween!  3 miles on the treadmill in the morning.  I need to get out of bed earlier so I get some more miles in!

Oh, and it was beautiful outside so I just ran 1 mile around the neighborhood to enjoy the 54 degree temperatures!!

Thursday – Today was a crap day.  Just putting that out there. Yes, bad days plague everyone.  It was a really emotional, bad day. I didn’t feel like doing any bit of exercise.  And it rained all day. 🙁

Friday – 4 miles New day, new attitude!  Got to run 4 miles with Alan at the park.  The fall colors were amazing! Alan has been doing well with the ankle support, but now he’s feeling some soreness in his heel.  Not sure what’s up with that.

We had a last minute change of plans and decided to take our camping trip a week earlier.  It was a great choice. The weather was beautiful!! It got down to about 35 degrees at night, but our camper was toasty.  During the day it was around 50.  The change in plans was because the State Cross Country meet was delayed a week due to the track being flooded!  Unprecedented choice, but I’m not sad they did it.

Saturday – Lots of hiking today!  Old Mans Cave

Q:  Have you ever been to Hocking Hills?

Q:  Tell me about your weekend?

Q:  Does anyone have any more races on the calendar for 2018?

    1. Thanks. I can’t remember the last time that I’ve been that upset. But in the end, everything was fine, so no problems! Camping was in Hocking Hills, OH – just south of Columbus.

  1. Looks very similar to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park south of Cleveland where we ran the Towpath Marathon. I am driving out to Colorado this weekend for some house hunting and staying long enough to run a Turkey Trot 5K in Denver with friends. Same group that did Towpath is considering going to Biloxi in December to run the Gulf Coast Marathon. I am undecided at this point with Boston training starting at the end of December.

    1. Yes, it does look like Cuyahoga! Cuyahoga was on our list of places to visit this summer but we never made it there. Next year for sure!! I hope your trip to Colorado is productive – and fun! Good luck, and safe travels!
