Another week of busyness around here. Upon reflection of my week there’s definitely a pattern of staying up too late and not having enough time in the mornings. For the most part I got up early, mostly due to my son getting up early for work, but I really did a bad job of going to bed on time. Summer is like that, right? The other factor in my week was “not enough time to do stuff”. Of course this is a result of me choosing to do outdoor activities (biking! garage sale!) instead of XY and Z (email clean up, housework, adulting). And during the week my blog got suspended due to some brute force attack. Ugh. Thankfully my hosting provider helped me out and it’s back up and running. Speaking of running, I only ran 18 miles this week and biked 73 miles. That seems low, based on how I feel, but training for my upcoming race doesn’t start for a few weeks so it’s fine.
Mon – 6 mile run. 49 degrees! Ah, a beautiful morning! Our road is being repaved. Hopefully it will be done soon.

We had a fun day afterwards at Cedar Point. It was the first visit of the season. We were actually chilly by the time we left because we were wearing shorts. I love Monday’s at the park!

Tues – 2 mile lunch walk with Mom. In the evening, 25 miles biking. Tuesday is Ladies Ride Night! I debated going on this ride because I took a nap after work, I was tired. But you know what? It turned out to be a great night and I’m so glad I went. Ladies Right Night is never a bad idea 😉

Weds – 3 mile run. Happy Global Running day! 51 degrees for the win.

Thurs – 3 mile run. My mom is having a garage sale so I joined her for the day. I also took some of my treasures over to sell. Overall sales went pretty well. Thankfully we could sit in the shade because the temperatures are starting to climb. Blog issues, what a pain!

30 miles biking. We joined the Thursday group ride. It was a hot night and it felt great to be riding. Riding in a group is such a cool experience when everyone is working together. This ride always has a large turnout (my picture only shows half of the riders!). The ride lived up to it’s name “Spicy+”. We picked up the pace and I got a few PRs.

Fri – Another garage sale day! But first, I walked with my friend in the morning
An afternoon climb occurred. I got to climb with both my son and daughter (and her boyfriend) so that was fun.

Sat – 18 miles biking. Since I got to bed late I decided today should only be a bike ride instead of a “long run” and a ride. I actually slept in until 8:30 and it felt amazing! We went on a coffee ride (coffee shop break half way through the ride). We started out with sunny skies but the wind kicked up shortly afterwards. The rain started and continued all the way through our journey home. We were soaked by the time we got home. But of course it was sunny and hot the rest of the day.

Sun – 6 miles run. Ideally this would have been an 8 mile run, but a later sleep in due to a late night of packing and getting ready for our upcoming camping trip turned this into a shorter run. TBH, it probably had a lot to do with the flight of beers I sampled at dinner last night too 😆 It was 64 degrees at 7am and so humid! Luckily I ran into a friend and got to stop and chat for a bit on the trail. After a busy morning of packing up the camper, and having to turn back after we started (oops, someone forgot to pack something!), we finally got on the road at 11:30am… only 2 hours later than scheduled. It’s all good! Kentucky here we come! I am looking forward to catching up on my sleep and enjoying family time in the camper.

Funny pic of the camera roll this week… Sam really wanted to venture outside so my son indulged him and took him for a short walk.

Q: How is your week going? Feeling organized or like you are burning the candle at both ends?? 😆
