For those of you who are racing with me on April 24th, the Glass City Marathon expo is where you will be picking up your bib on Saturday, April 23rd. It’s on campus at the University of Toledo, in Savage Hall. It will be open 9am – 5pm. If you can’t make it to the expo on Saturday, you will be able to pick up your bib on Sunday, race day, in Savage Hall from 5:30 am – 6:30 am. You will also be able to register for any open events at the expo if you haven’t done it yet.
I sure hope you can make it because you can stop by to visit me and the other race Ambassadors at the Info table! The Health and Wellness expo will also have a variety of vendors (listed here) and lots of official race merchandise from Dave’s Running Shop.
Your race bib will have all sorts of info on it… but don’t worry, here’s the important details. First, did you register early enough to get a personalized bib? If so, you will see that right above your bib. The bibs are color coded for each event. The large letter in the black square will tell you which corral you need to line up at the start line.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask any of the volunteers or us over at the Info table. We want to make your race day as stress-free as possible!

Q: Did you ever get anything other than your name printed on your bib?
I’m glad “Lisa” is short and easy to read. I feel like that really helps for random people in the crowd to cheer me on!
Q: Do you usually register early for races, or wait until the last minute (race day signup!)?
